MFA stands for Made For Adsense. MFAs are websites that lack in content and are put out there specifically to hold Google ads. These sites may be optimized by their owners to attract high paying Google ads. MFAs typically carry low Cost Per Click (CPC).

It would be nice if you could add known MFA sites to your Adsense competitive ad filter list so that only high paying ads appear on your sites. This should improve your Click through Rate (CTR).

Also, it is advised, in fact it is Google’s TOS that MFA pages nowadays must contain content and offer other services (i.e. be a good quality site). It follows that you should concentrate your efforts on having good contents over spotting and blocking MFAs. If you notice that your site is a host for these MFA ads then it may be worth blocking them by adding these to your competitive ad filter list.
