Get Back Links Every Time You Post A Blog Article
Sometimes I spent 3 hours writing and researching for a blog article. The least time it takes me to write an article is 20 minutes, and I probably have gone 3+ hours on some articles. How much time do you spend? Wouldn’t it be a shame to not have anyone read your article because they didn’t know it existed?
Regardless of what you wrote or how long it took you. Unless you are a famous website I’m betting you were holding your breath and waiting for readers anxiously. As a blogger it may be worth it to make it a habit to spend a few minutes after your article is published to gain a few links to your article.
The secret to gaining these back links is to utilize social bookmarking web sites. My previous article explains what social bookmarking is and links you to the top 30 social bookmarking sites, if you haven’t had a chance to read it why not take a look now.
We would like to use social bookmarking web sites that don’t use the rel=”nofollow” tag because many search engines, like Google, do not follow links with this tag, so they wont index your site. People though will still get to your back link though.
I believe the social bookmarking sites listed below don’t use re=”nofollow”.
Social Bookmarking sites
- ma.gnolia.com
- Furl.net
- Bmaccess.net
- Squidoo.com
- Mixx.com
- Digg.com
- Bibsonomy.org
- Mister-Wong.com
- News Vine.com
How - To. Step by step instructions:
- Join all the above sites.
- Bookmark the ’submit’ page for all of them.
- Every time you post an article, open the bookmarked ’submit’ page and and bookmark your article’s url.
By following the steps above you’ll help improve the strength of your article. More people may notice it and Google will also notice it and should boot the PR for your articles.
Useful Tips:
Don’t stop your other efforts to market your blog. Keep on working to create back links to your index page or other stronger pages in your blog.
Don’t forget to tag your articles. I have noticed that Google does index tags and you’ll get links to each tag term page.
These should not be the only websites that you create a back link on. While well known and search engine strong, the above sites are only 8 or 9. You want more than these sites linking back to your blog.
Keep on the lookout for social bookmarking sites that do not use the rel=”nofollow” tag on their links.
